I spent some time a few afternoons ago blending inks on card. Really enjoyed myself have not done this for a while. I managed to make about three cards from the results. This is the first one. I chose some brighter colours to ones I normally use. It turned out a bit autumnal even though we are still only in Spring. Nice one to keep for those winter mens cards.
Before I put any ink on the card I dragged some white Gesso through a leafy stencil and let it dry. The leaves added on the top are stamped and cut out of parchment. I just shaded them a little with some Faber Castell pencils. I cut the piece into three and then mounted onto black card.
