AN AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT

I have been missing from this old blog for quite a while. I think life has just got in the way of a lot of things. I have not even done a lot of craft projects in the last few weeks. I have been down to the Clarity Open days in Ditton, Kent, last week and they were just fantastic. I will pop back tomorrow and share all the photos I took there and tell you more about it.

Today though I am just sharing a card I made for my grandaughter as she has just received her degree results and I am very proud to say that she achieved a first.  Even more fantastic is that she did an horology degree, very unusual.  She also won two awards.

She is 21 in a few weeks time so I am sure we will have a very good celebration.  Photo below is Heather and her dad at her exhibition a couple of weeks ago standing by the amazing clock she built for her degree. Definitely not a kit either, she had to make all the parts and polish them. Hours and hours of work.

Hope you can excuse me being a rather proud nan.  Have a good weekend everybody and take care on Sunday when we are supposed to be having some very heavy rain again.

I am off to a workshop tomorrow with Josie Davidson and Chris Walker, going to be  a good day, they always have a wonderful project for us.

                                Thank-you for visiting. xx
