DOUBLE Z FOLD CARD.

Well what a mixed bag of weather today, one minute the sun is out then it is trying to snow but above all blowing a gale. I have had a good day catching up on some jobs and also had a visit from our little grandson, he brought his daddy along too. He is only six months old ( Taylor, not his dad )  and a real little charmer.

I am also getting a few craft items finished as well but yesterday I played around with another fancy fold card. This time a Z fold, but doubled. I also used the leafy swirl stencil and die. My stencil is very well used ( one of my favourites) and I think the die will be too .

Not an easy card to photograph but have tried to give you the idea.

This angle shows you the inside a little better.

I made a note of measurements as I cut the card so will pass them on but of course you could make it whatever size you like.

1)   Outer card   5" x 11.5"  scored at 3.5" and 6"
2) Inner card 3.5" x 9.5"   scored at 3.5" and 6.5"
3) Front panel  3" x 4.5" and gold layer 3.25" x 4.75"
4) Emboss the green panel with the leafy swirl stencil. These stencils emboss beautifully. Then I dry brushed over the panel with Viva Decor Inka Gold and mounted onto the gold panel.                                                        5)Working on the outer card piece I brushed over the stencil with emerald
green Artistry Ink on the back panel.
6)  Cut the die out in the same colour as base card and make a frame, this        needs to fit on your inner layer  so I used the 3rd and 4th frames from centre of the nested picot dies. Place frame over die cut leafy swirl secure with double      sided tape. Trim off any little bits that are sticking out under the frame.
7) Back with double sided adhesive and stick to the back part of inner card. Rub glitter over the front to get rid of all the sticky areas.

8)  I also stencilled the front panel of the inner card.
9)  Just need to join the two pieces now. I put double sided tape on the back      piece of the inner layer and stuck that in position first. Now only put tape          along the outside edge of the front piece and I closed up the card to position it.
10) Lastly I die cut some more leafy swirls and snipped them out to decorate.

  Items used are:-
             Leafy swirl die
                   Leafy swirl stencil
             Pergamano glitter

Little bit of a marathon to describe this one but actually quite easy to make. Folds flat for an envelope as well.

Well I hope you all have a good week going to be a bit wet I think so maybe lots more creativity.

                               Back soon. xx
